Aca Nexia advises Abénex for the acquisition of Tarefrais by carrying out the financial due diligence.
The TCR Capital team, who arrived at Abénex as part of the diversification into the small cap, signs its first investment. Abénex Croissance takes control of the Normandy industrial pastry Tartefrais alongside management and a new CEO, Franck Malinowski (formerly Agrial). Abénex intends to make Tartefrais its acquisition platform to form a new agribusiness group focused on naturalness and quality of products. With 220 employees and m€ 27 of revenus, Tartefrais produces daily pastries (pies, eclairs, cakes, etc.) without preservatives that the company sells to large scale retail outlet.
