Aca Nexia has strengthened its international expertise with the appointment of two new managing partners

Aca Nexia has stepped up its international development with the arrival of Charlotte Jansen and Frédéric Santos, Managing Partner Audit & Risk Management, and Managing Partner, International Business Services, respectively.
As Frédéric Santos points out, “Aca Nexia is a member of the international Nexia network. We will represent the firm at the network’s annual conferences, on common technical issues and in meetings with our European counterparts. At Aca Nexia, we will be the ‘go-to’ people for client audit and business-related issues with an international dimension.”
Charlotte Jansen, Managing Partner, Audit & Risk Management
With extensive experience auditing international groups and dual Franco-German nationality, Charlotte Jansen will be tasked with developing international auditing business within the Nexia network – particularly Franco-German relations – and with developing the Risk Management business line (internal control engagements more broadly). As Charlotte explains, “Aca Nexia is growing its international business by offering a comprehensive range of services for subsidiaries of foreign groups, either via statutory auditor engagements or by providing business services.”
Charlotte has already worked as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor at EY where she was Partner in charge of international clients, including the French subsidiaries of German groups. She headed up EY’s German Desk and was a member of the European team responsible for audit quality control throughout Europe. Charlotte also has recognised expertise auditing companies covered by Sarbanes-Oxley (PCAOB) with a strong internal control component. The added value of being a German speaker together with her knowledge of German culture and international business environments make Charlotte Jansen an ideal facilitator in international relations.
Frédéric Santos, Managing Partner, International Business Services
Frédéric Santos heads up the International Business Services team comprising 10 people. He is aiming to develop a solid and sustainable offering with a hundred or so well-established clients in 18 countries, including the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and elsewhere. Frédéric explains that “What attracted me to Aca Nexia was its solid offering that simply requires additional development.”
Frédéric Santos is a certified chartered accountant who is proud of his hybrid background in both audit and business services. He spent five years at EY managing the audits of major accounts in the auto and aerospace sectors, followed by seven years working as an auditor conducting reviews and tax and legal audits and providing labour law advice at Axe Partners as Head of international clients and Head of business development and digitalisation. At Aca Nexia, Frédéric Santos will once again be involved in International Business Services and partnering SMEs. As he explains, “My responsibilities and client management activities will comprise a 360° service offering covering tax and legal, payroll, social security obligations, accounting and finance. I will be working closely with all Aca Nexia partners.”
