Founded in 1991 by Christophe Lemaire, the Parisian house of ready-to-wear sees the Japanese group Fast Retailing, taking a minority part of its capital.
Japanese group Fast Retailing already had closer ties between the Designer Christophe Lemaire, who was appointed artistic director of the Parisian R & D center of Uniqlo in 2016.
The Japanese distributor now takes a minority part in the capital of the stylist’s fashion house and replaces Bpifrance, which supported the house since 2015 through his Fashion and Finance Fund.
Christophe Lemaire and his partner Sarah-Linh Tran keep control of the company. Fast Retailing is a giant Japanese ready-to-wear company wich detains Uniqlo, Comptoir des Cotonniers or even Princesse Tam.tam.
