The Aca Nexia teams performed the financial due diligence of eLichens, a Grenoble start-up dedicated to the analysis and prediction of air quality, as they raised € 7 million.
Created in December 2014, eLichens is a start-up whose mission is to enable individuals to digitize their environment. The company relies on a portfolio of patents, know-how, skills, which allow it to develop and market complete solutions, sensors / data / services to address the industrial markets, the smart city and the major markets. eLichens is headquartered in Grenoble and has offices in California.
eLichens today announced a new capital increase of € 7 million underwritten by its historical investors and two new entrants. A first round of € 4 million was raised in July 2016.
In addition to the renewed support from current shareholders, including the Emertec 5 fund managed by Demeter Venture, Sofimac Innovation, networks of Business Angels (members of France Angels) and Aereco, eLichens welcomes this fundraising round the found Ville de demain, managed by Bpifrance as part of the Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir and BNP Paribas Développement.
The aim of the operation is the large volume commercialization of its miniaturized gas sensors to serve the needs of its industrial customers as well as the large-scale deployment of its platform, which performs intelligent analysis of air quality in indoor and outdoor environments in outdoor for the Smart City, Smart Home and Smart Building markets.
